Managers/coaches vote it. They must hate Trout for robbing HR and hits.

Angels CF Mike Trout is named AL rookie of the year by BBWAA. Joins RF Tim Salmon (1993) as only rookies of the year in franchise history.
Mike Trout wins by unanimous decision, all 28 first-place votes. #Angels.

    Garret Anderson was robbed.

But that's ancient history, congrats MIKE!

But really, they're both so good we could just go with two DH, and have one of them play left-center and the other right-center.
Something that non-angel fans don' understand is that bourjos really is the better defender, and furthermore he is a lot faster, if the two of them both start next year, Trout really should be in left.

Bourjos is not faster in my opinion. But I do undoubtedly believe that he is the better CF. An outfield of Trout-Bourjos-Trumbo would be amazing. Actually, screw the 3rd OF'er. Let's just have an extra infielder all game and have Trout and Bourjos out there lol.

Is that a fact or are you just giving your opinion like I am?

From what I've seen, Trout is faster. But that's just what I've seen.

The expert opinion of Vladdy#27 says that Trout is faster from home to first. Bourjos is faster from home to home. Bourjos takes the better routes. Has a stronger/accurater (new word) arm. Trout is better at robbing HR.
