Don't know but atl is deep with young hard throwing SPers. I am dreaming, as I believe he will become one of top SP in BB in the next three years.

It could be. In the wake of the two big free-agent signings at the end of the week, the Angels have been in contact with the Tigers about Rick Porcello, according to sources.

A Porcello-for-Peter Bourjos swap would seem to make great sense for both sides. But that doesn't necessarily mean it will happen.

It wouldnt be the worst trade in the world. Porcello is locked up for 3 more years and he is a good young pitcher. He would definitely benefit from coming to the Angels.

The only thing I dont like about Porcello is his crappy strikeout rate.

He also kicked Youkillis's *** so thats a plus

He's a groundball pitcher playing in front of a pretty bad infield defense, it's not too surprising that his ERA isn't great. He also turns 24 later this month, and has steadily improved every single year in the majors. They're very different pitchers, but Zack Greinke didn't really break out until the same age. Not saying that'll happen with Porcello, but he's been very impressive for his age and can definitely grow into a very good starting pitcher, given the opportunity.
