Rogers is slowly becoming a liability to me.

I kind of agree, he is slowing down.

I think I've identified a couple Baalke gold helmet candidates, Jordan Poyer CB Oregon State. He's a captain, 4.4 40 guy, he's physical, he shows up in big games, he's a former Stanford foe, he's a senior, he's a big corner and last but not least he's an excellent return man. I wouldn't be surprised to hear his name come draft day.

The other guy is Margus Hunt DE SMU. To me he screams Baalke gold helmet guy. He's as physically gifted as any player in the draft he's just inexperienced in the game, he's a captain and a senior, he's a special teams weapon with a NCAA record 17 blocked kicks, he's a perfect candidate to redshirt behind Justin Smith and be his "understudy", he had his best performance in his biggest game and he is a stand up guy.

Don't be surprised if we end up drafting these 2 sleepers in the first couple rounds of 13.

What have you guys noticed with Rogers? I'm not disagreeing, I just don't quite understand defenses as well as offenses. What's he doing that you guys don't like?

He's just slower. He was never fast, but he lost a step.

They won't get by Miami and they'll be lucky if they can beat Boston. So since you're so high on Rose, I don't see him doing any damage at all come playoff time.

Hmm. He was playing with a bum ankle this week. I'm sure that contributed a bit. I'm not sure when he hurt it last week though.

I remember one play in particular against the Bills where he just took the play off. He just stood there as the WR caught the ball and someone else on the team had to make the tackle.

Cruz abusing him in the NFCC game also comes to mind.

That didn't surprise me though. Rogers is not really the type of CB you want singled on a shifty little slot type WR. I'd put him on Nicks personally. Brown is smaller and quicker and despite Cox being about 6', I think he would be able to cover Cruz better also.

I don't really see anyone in our secondary as a liability now. The stats back that up with the defense being fourth against the pass so far.

I think we should draft another ilb. Not because we need one, because we are really good at it.
