Rumors about possible trade for A Rod

    http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/2012/1...miami-marlins/

Not the best link but i've heard rumors about a swap for Heath Bell in which A Rod will basically be bought out sending him to the Marlins for Heath Bell's full contract. This will be incredible if we can pull this off.

Eventhough Alex is smug as hell, anything to get rid of Bell.
    I got rhymes.

I have no idea what this team will look like but I do know one thing Jeffry Loria should not be making decision. Our 2 worst contracts are his doing. If we get rid of Beinfest so be it but we will a REAL baseball person in here. We can't go into next season with Loria and Igor making the baseball decisions.

A-Rod will do much better with the Marlins if this trade goes through, he just needs a change of scenery imo.

    1. No one would take him
A-Riod still has an absurd $114 million left on the final five years of his contract, says Reid Forgrave at Fox Sports. The Yankees would have to pay off an enormous amount of that salary to make a deal work, and even then, who would take him? Rodriguez's hometown Miami Marlins are a rumored destination, but why would they want a "37-year-old admitted performance-enhancing-drug cheat who is well on the downside of the career?"
