Marques Colston passed Joe Horn as the Saints all time leader in touchdowns scored. Joe had 50 while Colston is up to 52 after his 3 TD game last night

people might be down on Mark Ingram, but opposing teams certainly respect his running ability. Play Action hasn't worked much for the Saints this season, but when it has, its been when Ingram is in the game. The Saints completed a 40-yard pass to Colston and a 41-yard pass to Henderson on play-action fakes with Ingram and fullback Jed Collins on the field, showing their run-heavy package. That same formula led to the 80-yard touchdown pass to Joe Morgan last week.

Remember the point in the game where the O-Line play went from bad (first 2 and a half quarters) to pretty decent? Aaron Kromer was very emotional last night. He showed some real fire in chewing out the O-Line and pushing them all game long. He also gave the defense an inspired talk in the 4th quarter (and we all know how they performed then)

For the first time in team history, the New Orleans Saints had two receivers with eight or more receptions, more than 120 yards and a touchdown a piece.

Those two were Colston and Henderson

Was very impressed with Henderson last night, with Moore and Graham hurt and Morgan not able to catch anything. We really needed him to step up and he did! I like seeing that kind of production from our WR's.

    2012 Stats
    63 Tackles, 3 INTs, 18 PDs, 1 Sack, 1 FF, 1 TD

Yeah, it was the first time that Brees wasn't really spreading the ball out to 7-8 targets. He was forced to push it to Colston and Henderson and boy did they respond. Lot of downfield passes last night, too.

Funny how that works, huh? The moment he starts pressing the issue, they start catching the ball. These guys were being covered by Jammer and Cason, too...no slouches at Corner.

Hell, Colston could barely freaking walk and he was going crazy.

that's the craziest part. He was limping from the time the play was over until he got lined up for the next play. Then he'd just explode off the line and cut across the middle for the physical catch. Multiple one-handed catches while holding off Jammer and Cason with the other arm. Unbelievable performance

It's very possible that the Saints could be in 2nd place after the next two weeks of football.

Sounds better than saying, "They'd be 2-4."
