ZBS is staying. STOP crying for the PBS

DA is on record in not in one but 4, FOUR, ,IV, quattro, quatre, chetire, dort, tessera, vier interviews saying he is NOT moving away from the ZBS.

(in all languages so you all get it.)

he thinks it's the toughest Offense to plan against

ZBS is S-T-A-Y-I-N-G. stop bringing it up.

toughest offense to guard against not when you have trash like Knapp calling plays.

Well, it's not hard to guard against when the line doesn't create space and the runners can't find holes.

Allen might stick with the zone-system, but I promise you this - Greg Knapp won't be running it next year.

Kill the OC, the offensive line coach or the blockers all you want. Part of the problem....a big part of the problem, is the fact that McFadden is impatient and has very limited vision. He deserves as much blame as anyone else. Yet no one says a peep about him.

I agree. It is staying but this is pathetic.I am looking for anything to be excited about. Not finding much.
We have managed to make our most explosive player a non factor.
The defence is at best marginaly better.
    Palmer couldnt stay upright.
I dont know about this new regime but I do know Knapp sucks schlekel!

I agree but what changed from last year? I can only think of Knapp and the zbs.

I disagree. DMC has shown some patience, especially on the stretch plays.

I'm sure if DMC was the issue, they would have benched him by now, but at some point, the Raiders need to get Mike Goodson some carries.

For God's sakes, the backside of the D/L is getting to the play before the line develops anything. The run game is just sooo slooooooow to develop!

Whatever the problem, it needs to get fixed. Even if this team is 4-12, they need to get a running game established.

There will be a young QB coming into the organization in the next 1-3 years. We'll want them to have a strong running game to work with when they're finally on the field.

Then you and I disagree. I'm not saying its all his fault...but he's most certainly playing his part.

Put Goodson and Jones in and see what happens.

If they get results and McFadden doesn't, the question is answered. If they look similarly stymied behind a walled off O/L, the question is answered.

Reminds me of Fargas vs Miami in 2007. Someone, somewhere, can gain yards running the ball; find that guy and give him the ball 15+ times a game.

It's definetly a work in progress and I think we all know it's more than one issue. The line is just not executing and that affects all of the runners. Second as Shred and Stork brought up patience and vision are critiacal and I believe that will come with time. As are o-line gets batter and the backs don't feel as much presure to jump the wrong hole we will get more yards. It's hard to watch but it will get better with time... We all love the Raiders and want to see them win now.... Keep the faith Raider Nation....

Here are the game logs of several prominent NFL tailbacks who ran out of an offense that featured a ZBS. Note the first season of each one.
