Then you can't read or have a bad memory Please see below. One of several posts made by me on this site. This particular one was actually a response to you..... Easily located it using the forums search functions.

"I would like to see Williams end up in Tampa.... As I have said before, I lives in Syracuse and my cousine is a WR at the school and a former teammate of Williams... Mike has issues but he is very talented. If available in the latter rounds 3-4th, he could be a real help/gem for our unit provided we get him and keep him on the straight and narrow. If his game grows, he could be a major asset to Tampa and number 5 in future years.

So as you can see I most def did voice my opinion here and elsewhere that I wanted Mike Williams drafted by Tampa. I did not give a crap about his supposed off the field issues because my cuz knews him and I knew that mess was bogus. I honestly think we waited to long to nab him buts its okay.... He is ours now.

Dude, as a rookie he immediatley became their #1 CB, and did not give up a single TD after week 5. What are you talking about?

^ Are you suggesting that Gilmore is not good becasue Buffalo sucked? If that is the case, what does that say about C. Houston, D. Cox, and DRC?

Nope I'm saying Gilmore shot up the draft board and didn't play well. I live up here. Gilmore didn't play well most of the season.

Look I am all for drafting to fill our needs and make our D better. If we address our Defensive needs in FA what do you guys think of Cordarrelle Patterson? I think he’s gonna be the next Harvin, Cobb type. Watching this guy run is just amazing. He would make a great #3 and PR/KR and also line him up in the backfield. He would give us the speed threat that we are lacking. It’s all hypothetical, i’m not saying draft him at 13 necessarily but maybe drop back and pick em up. Thoughts (take a look first, this video got me wondering, he runs circles around Bama and Georgia).

Patterson is a raw talent that only played one season at UT. And when did he "run circles around Bama"? He had one catch that game

Guy makes plays when the balls in his hands you cant argue that. I’m just going a different route here rather than argue about what corner we should take bc all the arguments have been made. Just bringing something new to the table.

@bwall ...Yea Tavon is basically a percy harvin 2.0, dude is filthy. Definitely much more of a typical slot guy, where as Patterson could be lined up as a true WR due to his size. I’m not sure either of these guys will be there in round 2 but you think we should jump up like we did last year for Martin?

Im really torn man....I could see us moving up, last year we did it and only had to swap 4ths thats cheap

so many different options to go, it really all depends on FA and whether we get a S, TE, DT, OT, WR, CB and who falls

I could see them sitting still and making the pick or moving up.

I personally favor taking D. Robinson or S. Bailey in the 3rd or 4th

I just hope we can do something similar to last year and get the guys we want who can come on and make an immediate impact. I really dont care where that might be but our team became drastically better last year. With our OL coming back too that will be a huge boost. Can't really go wrong with this draft.

I don't recall him running circles around us (Alabama), but he is talented when the ball is in his hands. He is not a sure handed wr. I see him being a return specialist in the NFL and a wideout a team throws screens to. His route running and hands are very suspect..

Love him! I wrote up something similar in this beginning of this thread:

I'm probably going to get blasted for saying this, but I would love to see the Buccaneers draft WR Cordarrelle Patterson of Tennessee in rounds one or two. Receiver is already one of our biggest strengths, but I just think he's way too talented to ignore. In my opinion, he reminds me of a bigger Percy Harvin. He has elite speed, quickness and agility, and plays all over the field. He can line up in the slot, on the outside, or even at running back in certain packages. He's also arguably the best return man right now in college football. He would be a great solution to our return game and would be another shiny new toy for Freeman to play with.

    Fire the cannons.
