Sox should look at Former Phillies Greg Gross. He did good for hitting coach. and for 1st we have Alex Ochoa
They haven't retained Ochoa yet.
Mo Vaughn for hitting coach. He would fit right in with the chicken and beer clubhouse

AMHERST, Mass. -- Another prospective Red Sox hitting coach, Victor Rodriguez, interviewed with the club on Tuesday.
"We'll probably have one or two others later this week," general manager Ben Cherington said Tuesday night at an event at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
The Red Sox also plan to hold interviews for their vacant first-base coaching position this week, Cherington said.
Rodriguez, 51, has been the Red Sox's Minor League hitting coordinator for six seasons. His son, Victor Luis Rodriguez, is a scout in the organization. The elder Rodriguez played in the Majors briefly, in 1984 and '89.
Rick Schu, 50, is also a candidate for one of the coaching positions the Sox are trying to fill. Schu has been an organizational hitting instructor for the Nationals since 2009.

Alex Speier of WEEI.com reports that the Red Sox will interview Craig Counsell and Greg Colbrunn for their vacant hitting coach job this week.
Counsell will interview Monday, with Colbrunn sitting down with Sox brass later in the week. The Red Sox are considering using two hitting coaches in 2013, though it will depend on personnel. Diamondbacks hitting coach Rick Schu, Sox minor league hitting coordinator Victor Rodriguez and Braves assistant hitting coach Scott Fletcher have already been interviewed

Arnie Beyeler named 1B coach.
Red Sox named Arnie Beyeler first base coach (http://http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/...40383402&vkey= news_bos&c_id=bos)
I'm not thrilled by the move, I really liked the guy as Pawtucket manager and think he's doing a great job there. He can have a bigger impact on all the kids coming up as AAA Manager than as a first base coach on the big league team. I also had him penciled as the next manager if Farrell doesn't work...
Now we also need a Manager for the PawSox
What do you guys think?
Good to see our staff is coming together, still need a hitting coach. I am all for Counsell, rather 1 hitting coach than 2. Any announcement on any of the coaches' jersey numbers ??
