If we only bring back one of Peavy, AJ, or Youk. I really hope its Peavy. Assuming Danks comes back strong next year that would be a real nice top of the rotation! IF AJ would come back on a 1 year deal thats fine, however I see some team like the Dodgers giving him 3 years lol!

IMO...i would like to see the sox get better defensively behind the plate. I like the idea of seeing what Flowers can do given 500 pa. Then sign a veteran backup like Shoppach. Also, if the sox want to have a chance to contend next year they might have to consider trying to bring Youk back. there are few, if any, better alternatives.

i wonder if Callaspo could be gotten from the Angels. He's a decent hitter, albeit with much less power, and a superior defensive player to Youk.

I don't know what Callaspo costs, but I would take him. It looks as if prospect Carlos Sanchez is playing a lot of 3B in the AFL. He plays very good defense and his for a good average.

So I added a poll to see what your opinion is on the 2013 White Sox.

Would you like them to rebuild or go for it?

He'd throw a perfect game in his first start (in which Dunn homers twice), and then break his arm in the next start (in which Dunn strikes out six times).

I think they are wanting to bring Peavy back. If they could trade Floyd and use that money saved and get McCarthy as well, that would be a nice rotation.

Am I the only one that wants Quintana to beat out Santiago in the rotation? I mean if Santiago is better then I want him in there, but I would rather have Quintana just beat him out because he was better. Then Santiago could be placed in the bullpen where he can still help the team. Whereas I don't think Quintana has any chance of helping in the bullpen. Either way it is still a good dilemma to have.

I always liked McCarthy, although he is injury prone...but felt that Ozzie ran him out of town.
I'm thinking as a 4 or 5 he would fit in well, knows the team, city etc...

He is much better than that now....if he came here and Peavy left he might be our 2 if he repeats last year.

I dont think ozzie ran him out, the Rangers offered Danks for him. That was a no brainer for KW.

There is no way in hell McCarthy would ever come back here.

didnt he have issues with when he was here, and that was part of the reason the Sox moved him? Seem to remember hearing things about him, Brian Anderson, and some of the other younger guys around back then enjoying the nightlife a little too much.

Would you go out and party if you had this at home?
