That's a lot for AJ and a year too many for Jake. A few mill to high for Myers too for what we'd probably offer. And we'd be stupid not to at least pick up Gavin's option. Then shop him most likely.
What I hope:
Jake 3/33-39
AJ-2/10-14
Myers-2/7
Youlk (if declined, 2/20, if they have the money for all this)
What I hate is that we are going to field damn near 100% of the same team next year, only a year older for a few guys who were pretty good this year (although that could be good for a few guys too like Sale, Tank, and the pen). We're most likely going to see some regression from Paulie, AJ. Possibly Jake, Thornton, and Dunn too. At least we got Danks returning.

Well it looks as if Viciedo will make somewhere around $3M or so next season, unless the Sox try to lock him up to a long term deal. But don't look for that to happen. He isn't ARB eligible until after 2014.
If the Sox can get Peavy to come back for 3/$40, that would be a good deal. I wouldn't want the Sox to go 4 years.
honestly, i think 3/40 for Peavy might be pushing it as well. It might be a great time to trade Rios for spects and use that money to re-up with Youk. Than maybe get a cheaper alternative like Angel Pagan or trade for Gerrardo Parra.
Don't be surprised if the Sox trade Rios and get Parra. I remember KW trying to trade for him the past couple of years.

The question is, what is Rios worth in trade after his great 2012 #'s?
I think the Rays would make a great trading partner for some of their young pitching.
Rays won't take on any payroll
We need to let Santiago start, if we resign peavy and bring in a guy to compete with Quintana for the 5th spot. We need to let Youk and AJ walk IMO. We need to get better hitters and guys that won't clog the base pads.
Our BP should be solid, I think we should bring back Meyers personally.
No ideas for the moment.
I'm not against Santiago starting, he definitely showed potential there late in the season, my only concern is if he and Quintana are in the rotation, with Danks and Sale, that gives the Sox 4 lefties in the rotation. I think Quintana is a starter or bust, don't see him having the stuff to be a reliever.
