Walters isn't worth either piece Lowe or the 1st alone. Not even close. You could've gotten a legit superstar for that package.

Actually no I've been shopping these pieces for a while now whenever I would try to get any trade conversation people would always turn their attention to wags or Weems or landsman. The point is I want a power hitting outfielder that's ready to produce in the next season with my other young cheap core players. I'm willing to give some talent away for a player who is cheap locked for several years and will produce right now rather than wait 3-4 season for a prospect to develop.

I never knew 14.5 VORP was considered production.

Thats a bad deal man. And I also disagree about judging a deal 3 years down the line. The fact is, at this point in time those 2 pieces could have easily gotten you a much, much better player than Walters. 3 years down the line doesn't change that.
