    Brian Moorman Released

I have no idea why. They said because he wasnt good at directional punts...

Things will always work out in the end, but if you want them to turn out a certain way... You need to make it happen.

powell was really good and almost beat him out in camp. He has a power leg. Also i dont know the truth to this, but I heard his wife was diagnosed with cancer and requested to be released.

Wow, that's all I can really say. Did not expect to see this at all.

I heard he was 30th in the league statistically through 3 games. He almost lost his job preseason to Powell, so it isn't surprising. I'm surprised they didn't cut Lindell given he was injured last year and we have another kicker on the team already.

I guess I didn't realize what a down year he was having.

Powell is the real deal. He will be on this team (unless injured) for a very long time. Against the Pats, we will see some very long kicks. Moorman just got old, lost his boom. He was close to loosing his job in preseason, being his punting was bad, but they gave him the benefit of the doubt to see how he performed during the season. Good move by the Bills. The only worry will be who will take snaps and hold the ball for field goals. This can screw us if he is not up to task.

Wow. Not every day you see a 12 year veteran punter who has been with the same team his whole career released in the middle of a season.
