    It's truly insane.

That guy was the best player ever after Babe, steroids or not.
Look at Pedro's stats from 1997-2003. One of the greatest peaks for any pitcher in baseball history. Guys were juicing like crazy and he averages over 11 strikeouts per 9 innings and a 2.20 ERA.

One of the greatest sports moments in my life....back around 99-2000..... I went to Boston on a biz trip. My and buddies went to Sox Yanks game at Fenway. Pedro pitching a nasty shutout. 2-0 Sox in 9th. Crowd going nuts. Then Scotty Brosius hits a 3 run homer in the top of 9th off him.

Me and my buddy start a chant of "Pedro Who!".....

Can't believe we didn't get our azz beat.

    But it was awesome.

    Had a .480 OBP at 42.

.362/.609/.812 with 45 HRs and 101 RBIs at age 39.

    Crazy.

    Crazy.
In only like 400 at bats.

That mofo was amazing. He once got intentionally walked over 100 times in one year. FYI- zero Yankees walked the regular way over 100 times this year, and I believe last year.

There just came a point where most pitchers just pitched around him. He did not have an all-star lineup around him so the opposing manager said just let him get on. However Bonds had always been great at getting on base and if you look at his career before the roids accusations, he always had a good chunk of IBB.

He had a career .412 OBP before the HR record season and 3 MVPs.

You know what is more crazy? Ruth had 8 seasons in which he had at WAR of least 10. Bonds had 3.

Babe is in a different world. He hit more hr than any other TEAM hit back then. Think about that.

It's going to be a long day..

No I wasn't driving that car, or operating that train. But I do work for the MTA-Long island Railroad.

    Ugh. People are stupid..
