I got my mama a kindle last year, and she was at first just being nice to me about it and didn't think she'd like it. She hasn't put it down all year. She loves it.

Won an iPad in a raffle two years ago and gave it to my mom for her birthday. Took her a while to get used to but definitely was the best gift I ever gave her. And it didn't cost me a thing

That's because it's cheap. The good stuff (shots of whiskey, rum, tequila, bourbon, vodka, and scotch, also wine and martinis) cost way too much compared to beer.
