The Browns shirt was awesome but that ending was just kind of like "Huh". I get it that they are trying to make Barney have more substance and a deeper person but really playing cards with Patrice. Robins interaction with her though is still pretty good.

The Ted/Lily/Marshall thing was just muh for me too. Just continue to write about much ado about nothing for those three as they are just roaming around like cattle with them while Barney/Robins story take center stage.

Part 2: Christmas approaches and Ted wrestles with whether to tell Robin about Barney's intentions involving Patrice, while Marshall and Lily get an early Yule gift, a night away from Marvin, but a case of separation anxiety strikes and threatens to ruin the evening

I liked this episode as well. Ted has a lot of labeled **** he lent out. For some reason, I thought the funniest part was Barney juggling the glass bulb ornaments then just dropping them when Ted knocked at the door.

I stopped watching a few episodes back but was told this was worth watching. One of their best in a long time.
