McDonald really would be a perfect replacement for Troy. There are a few safeties we need from this class, and he tops the list.

Are there any elite corners this year like the last few?

I think things like elite corners are more evident closer to the draft. Especially since you need their full season work against top competition to see if they truly are elite.

Other positions like that: LT, C, WR, and maybe DE
DO NOT TRUST YOUR PETS TO NEMACOLIN WOODLANDS KENNEL

On 7/20/14 we took our Calla and Pebble for a stay while on vacation. On 7/21 Calla, who is diabetic, was given 10x her insulin dosage. She wasn't found until 12 hours after being overdosed. After a week and a half of suffering we made the tough decision to put her down because of brain damage and a lack of a quality of life. She was only 7 and her breed lives until their 20's. Over half of our beloved Calla's life was stolen from us.

I'd rather we take a safety than a corner. Taylor's not at the level he was at last year but he's been solid. Palmer and Manning were staying away from Taylor and picking on Keenan Lewis, who seems to be suffering from Bryant McFadden syndrome and giving his receiver the biggest cushion ever, and Cortez Allen who's only been playing slightly better than pre-2011 Willie Gay. Which isn't saying much. And I don't know what's taking Curtis Brown so long to earn playing time on defense. But the fact remains that Lewis, Allen and Brown are young, have shown promise, and maybe they can pull a William Gay in a good way and perform up to their potential even if it took some time to get there. Like with gay where it took him two seasons of sucking until he was awesome.

But for Polamalu and Clark, yeah they're still good, but they're 31 and almost 33 respectively. A lot of people have proposed the Steelers' defensive issues are the young players still not quite getting LeBeau's system, so I'd rather draft a safety now and have him learn for a while before being ready to take over. Even Polamalu wasn't awesome until his third year.

My #1 hope is still Te'o though. After that McDonald, Rambo, any other crazy SEC defensive back would be quite nice. Or, since I'm finally admitting that Harrison's injury issues are due to age, another pass-rusher. If not for the future, at least depth other than Worilds and Carter.

I agree with your assessment, ring.

Te'o, too, is my number one but I highly doubt he falls to us (never know though...) There's actually a really good article about Te'o in Sports Illustrated. If anyone's able to read it, I highly recommend doing so.

We need A LOT of help in this draft especially on defense

every single defensive position is fair game in any round.. ill post something more detailed later

this draft is extremely talented also riddled with players with some character question marks.. if i could be a gm for any draft in my lifetime i would choose this one

see a lot of TJ McDonald love but no love for Eric Reid? theyre both very good. i think it would be so awesome if we could get the two USC/LSU safeties to replace our current USC/LSU safeties.

So we would need a top-8 pick, basically. I mean, I guess it's not outside the realm of possibility, I just hope it doesn't happen.

Uhhh we would have to get extremely lucky. Reid would have to slip to the early 20s we may have to trade up into the 35-40 range for McDonald. Would have the best safety combo in the league for the next 12 years though
