Well I am looking for fuel savings more than power. 170 HP is good for me.

His is 2.0L. 170 is good since it isn't that big of a car either.

The rims aren't my style, but I like that he took the emblem off. Def would look better in black.

Well This is my new Car I brought it from the Dealer for just 1k it has a very good 3800 engine all it needed was minor electrical work. But this fire bird is going to be my personal Project planning to covert it to a Trans Am.

I'm looking to upgrade the stereo in my car.

I'm not looking for a fancy head unit but I'd like some quality speakers. I've never listened to component speakers installed in a car (only heard them in a car audio store and nothing ever sounds the same in a car). I've always just bought individual speakers and run them off the head unit's power and have liked the sound I get.

Is there a big difference between the two? Are components worth the extra price?

Anyone have any recommendations on brands or specific models? I've got a couple JL Audio 12s if I ever want to put them in, so I don't need any woofer recommendations.

The sound should be better, but it really depends on if you want to pay the difference. You might be better off researching other audio forums for more information.

I like the front fascia with the grill removed and the headlights. Not a fan of the wheels though... too "bling" for me. I really like the Mazda 3's. Contemplated getting a 2013 Mazda 3 hatch for a DD, but somehow I just said **** it and ordered the Challenger SRT lol. Guess I am not destined to get good MPG's.

IMO components are definitely worth the money. I used to just run random speakers in my old cars and it was OK... but was more loud that crisp and full. Then in my Evo I ran with a full Alpine system (Head unit, 4 components w/ tweeters, 2 amps and a 10inch sub). It sounds great for only a $1700 system. Even over the loud exhaust of the Evo is can definitely hold its own.

I have always been a fan of Alpine, Rockford Fosgate, or MB Quarts.

I didn't like the wheels the first time I saw them either, but they eventually grew on me. I'll get some better shots later. He still has to get coils also.

Got a 04 sonata last week pretty nice looking, good handling at 100 I got it to 105 on the freeway but slowed down bc I ain't wanna get pulled over. It has a 4 cylinder t it gets it done.
I need a radio with a aux cord. Bestbuy want $65 for install. I would do it myself but it has a stock amp that I don't know how to bypass.

Can't say from first hand experience, but seeing as how the crossover is probably the most important part of the speaker, I'd assume there will be a difference
