Bosh says look out for Knicks

Despite the fact the Heat easily knocked the Knicks out of the playoffs last season, Miami’s Chris Bosh said he thinks the Knicks will be a stiffer test for the defending champions this season.
“I just want to say — the freakin’ Knicks, man,” Bosh told ESPN.com Thursday. “I think they’re going to be a good team.
“Nobody’s really talking about them, and I don’t like it. They’re flying under the radar right now. I think the Knicks are going to be a very good team.”
After Miami’s successful run to the title with Bosh featured as the team’s center, the All-Star power forward said he has spent the summer preparing to be the team’s center this season.
“It’s becoming natural to me,” Bosh said. “I have a very unique opportunity to do something very special for myself and my team. I think all the time that you have to evolve and get better. This is me evolving as a player.”

People act like this is surprising to hear. It's the blatant truth and everyone outsode of Knicks fans are purposely overlooking us to create a "legitimate rivalry" with the Nets it's so ****in sorry.

Other players are the only people you can listen to at a time like this because they are the only ones who will give it to you straight. You have to be RETARDED to mention anyone other than Boston and maybe Indiana as bigger threats to the Heat than us, therefore it's blatantly obvious what the media is doing.

Analysts like Barkley are just trying to get attention that **** rolled off my back as soon as i heard it as if it came from someone who has never watched the NBA

I think he said it was the Nets in one of his rants. This was during the off-season.

Bosh has been saying **** like this the whole summer...I think it's in a effort to draw attention away from the Heat. He said OKC will come back better, he said the lakers have the best team in the nba on paper, now this. Not saying he's wrong about any of it but I think it's more of a deflection of attention off miami

That's probably true, but he's trying to deflect it onto the teams that threaten him. The Knicks should threaten him.

You never know until the games begin, but I truly believe the Knicks may have the most dynamic roster in the NBA. I mean Amare is healthy again, and if he's not going to be the premiere offensive player he was 2 years ago, as long as he hits his jumpshot he's still one of the best #2 options in the NBA, and they've added the pieces to help him thrive again.

Imagine if the Knicks do pick up Kenyon Martin, who can still change the game defensively. With Jason Kidd/JR Smith/Brewer or Shumpert on the bench/Novak/Martin/Camby that's simply the best bench in the league IMO. Old or not old, these guys have proven they can still play effectively, and that's like a starting lineup on your bench (a bad starting lineup, but all of these guys could start for some teams).

So they have defense and rebounding up and down the lineup, including the most efficient rebounder and shot blocker in the league off the bench. Possibly the best complimentary bench in the league, and 2 Premier offensive talents with the correct offensive pieces to help them thrive. I'd call out the Knicks too.

Only a crazy amount of injuries could mess this up (God forbid). I look on other boards and people bring up Phil Jackson saying this roster is clumsy and at the time it was, especially when it was believed we'd have to teach Jeremy Lin how to be a pg and then become a good team, but now I don't see a more complimentary roster in the league. I'm hoping for a great statement season for NY.

For some reason I feel like Bosh wants out of Miami. I bet Wade and Bron don't fit him in I always see Bosh as a third wheel.

Bosh and Shaq have both come out recently and made comments about the legitimacy of our team. Whatever you may say about them, it is nice getting validation from some legitimate sources.

However at the end of the day all I care about is winning games. If we fly under the radar or are disrespected by most people then good. It will make it that much sweeter when we pull off big wins.

Just also wanted to add **** Charles Barkley GO NY GO NY GO
