I see Defensive end and Offensive tackle as almost equivalent needs. I would have less than no problem drafting at either one of these positions in rounds one and/or round 2. In fact, I think that our 1st round pick WILL be the Best Available Player out of these positions, especially if we're picking somewhere in the Top 15, which our record so far would suggest.
Defensive Tackle is an issue now, even with Akiem Hicks performing well for the most part. Even if those two end up as our starters as you suggest, I think that Spags, Loomis, and Payton will want to upgrade the depth here and potentially get a new starter and keep Hicks or Bunkley coming off the bench. Keeping these guys fresh is important to keeping a stout defense throughout the game (especially the 4th quarter). If Sedrick Ellis walks (and I don't see him taking a big pay cut to stay), then this becomes an even bigger need.
I agree, OT and DE are definitely our biggest needs. We have absolutely zero pass rush and our tackles have been horrible in pass pro. Spags also loves his depth on the D Line, so I could see us adding at least 2 or 3 new players at DT/DE. I think for sure we will draft a pass rushing DE in the top 2 rounds.
