This isn't a typical power rankings. I've ranked the teams in our league from top to bottom using the totals from 5 key criteria:

*Win %- each teams current standing.

*Net worth- each teams bank balance.

*Payroll- each teams current cap situation.

*Prestige- a combination of championships/win % since the start of our league.

*Star value- where each team stands in relation to star players. There were 4 tiers when figuring this. Tier 1- Big 4's or really strong big 3's. Tier 2- Big 3's or really strong star combos. Tier 3- Star combos or young emerging stars with high potential. Tier 4- nobody on their roster who is a star or a lock to become one.

Thought so. Not just saying this because I'm 15th but IMO it should be weighted. Past success, win% and star value should count more than cap situation and cash in the bank. Because as we've seen so far having cap room can only do so much. And I think everyone would rather 5th in star value than 1st in cash ... just saying.

I thought about this actually. In the end I didn't really weigh some categories more heavily than others beacause: A- The 3 categories of most competitors already outweigh the 2 categories of the tankers (cash flow and payroll). B- I didn't want to make it any more confusing than it already might be for people to understand how I came up with everything. C- I already spent enough time on it lol.

Prestige was a combination of historical win % and championships. So the top 3 teams were automatically going to be the 3 that won ships. Then I ranked those 3 championship winners 1-3 based on their regular season win %. After that, I just took all regular season win % to get 4-29. Again, thought about combining regular season and playoff win % to refine it but would have taken too long.

Star power is really the only one without a number to back it up. It was pretty much just me looking at the rosters and breaking it down into 4 tiers to help me rank easier. Tier 1 I placed the obvious top teams with most stars (big 3's, big 4's), tier 2 the next level (lesser big 3's and strong star combos like Kobe and Shaq), tier 3 and 4 were harder. Tier 3 had guys like LeBron who will be an obvious star, Diop who could easily be DPOY in years to come, Melo, etc and also some older declining stars like Payton... After I got everyone in their tiers I ranked tier 1 then ranked tier 2 seperately, so on and so forth. After I had all 4 tiers ranked seperately I just transferred it into 1-29 instead of 1-7 or so of each tier...

Star power was the hardest one and probably one I'll catch most **** for if people like their guys better than others...

This. None of my rankings hint at what kind of future I think anyone has or how good teams currently are. They are just a combination of 5 key variables. Its flawed in certain ways no doubt but still was fun to do.
