Willis is flat-out the best. No questions asked. No doubts should be had.

#2 is Brian Cushing IMO. Seeing him in Wade Phillips' defense last year was a real pleasure to watch.

Bowman is a very close 3rd. Another ILB that isn't in the top 3 but they need to start getting more recognition and love is D'Qwell Jackson and Daryl Washington.

Washington is one of my favorite players to watch on defense.

I agree with this. Cushing and bowman are close but I'd give it to Cushing. I wanna see how bow can do after two full years of starting.

Derrick Johnson was probably the second best last season. People always talk about Willis' freakish athletic ability but his and DJ's combine numbers are nearly identical

No love for Jerod Mayo, I see? In all seriousness, I'd probably go with Cushing and Jon Beason (when healthy). Navarro Bowman is no slouch but I think his production has a lot to do with the fact that he plays next to Patrick Willis.

I would have said Cushing by far, but after his game last week I might pick Ray Lewis. He seriously looks like the same player he did 10, and 15 years ago.

Its very well being a homer, because of the fact that you asked for non homers opinions.

Pat willis being the best isnt a fact, so no its not the truth. Its an opinion shared by the majority of fans, but it isnt a fact.

PS, i do think willis is the best ilb in the game no question.
