    2013 NFL Draft Talk

I'm pretty sure your right it looked like he was taking classes again.. But I didn't really get to read a whole lot because I got busy when I started looking it up but man that would've been a huge improvement to our secondary I'm still mad we didn't make a move for Jenkins or Asante.. More so about Jenkins tho

With the way the lions are playing at the moment we are in a top 15 pick for sure, a guy i would want with a top 15 pick in this draft is Xavier Rhodes cb Florida State, big cb who has potential to be a shut down corner, he also has return ability. We boast our secondary and give Logan the boot win win. Also I think if Tony Jefferson S Oklahoma is there in the 2nd when we pick, it's a no brainer for Mayhew. Then for DE help I would take a shot at a guy like Tank Carradine DE Florida State in a 4th 5th round type, the guy is thriving after the injury to highly ranked DE Brandon Jenkins.

If that draft happened (Rhodes and Jefferson) we would be greatly improved in the secondary, granted Delmas and Houston are brought back. Jefferson does sounds like a Mayhew pick, so hopefully we can grab him in the 2nd.

    - Trade back in first, gain 3rd and future 6th
    - Trade peterman and a 6th for a 4th.

    FA
    - Focus all our attention on Jake Long/Ryan Clady/Jermon Bushrod

    Resign
    - Louis Delmas to reasonable deal cause his durability concerns
    - Chris Houston needs to stick around
    - Sammie Hill is a bigger part of the rotation than cwill going forward
    - Who to chose between Durant and Levy if we can't have both.
    - Will Heller, he will be cheap
    - depending on the LB/DE and also RB position(look for cheap FA fill-ins)*

    50/50
    - We will see how Avril does ping forward after a nice showing against the Eagles
    - CWill/Lo Jack depend on their asking price

    1. Tony Jefferson s Oklahoma.
By draft time he's a late first rounder

    2. Desmond Trufant cb Washington.
Good season thus far, good coverage skills, we could use him. If Bently starts *to get better from here out we could have a nice secondary.*

    3a. Margus Hunt DE SMU.
Labeled as an athletic freak, Hunt would add a very big prospect to the dline. By big I mean 6'8 275.*

    3b. Dalton Freeman oc Clemson.
They say he's small but he's 6'5 285 with room to grow- Raiola is 6'1 295 and old. Dude is a Stud and a leader who happens to be a sound blocker with great technique.*

    4. Blaize Foltz og TCU.
Peterman's replacement. Another ol with very high football IQ and te ability to get it done on the field.

    5. Brandan Bishop s NC State.
I like this guy. Eventual starter talent, better then our depth no doubt.

any burner RBs in this draft who can catch well? Looks like we need a shifty replacement for Best.

edit: couple guys who may be intriguing

    Kenjon Barner and Onterio McCalebb

Sounds about right, just do not let him throw the ball.

Denard is way too fragile to handle RB in the NFL. He'd get knocked out as soon as someone like Urlacher smacks him.

I haven't seen the 1st 2 guys play yet this season(I wanted to catch the Oklahoma game Saturday morning but didn't). What's so great about Jefferson?

And I'd like to get a scat back. I have seen Barner play, he would fit our offense pretty well.
