    2013 NFL Draft Talk

Give some draftnik's something to talk about with our team being good, and college football is now in full swing lets see some draft talk going on.

This year I project the Lions are going to be drafting 25th overall so here are some guys to look out for.

    HB Marcus Lattimore (South Carolina)
    G Chance Warmack (Alabama)
    T Ricky Wagner (Wisconsin)
    T Jake Matthews (Texas A&M)
    DE Alex Okafor (Texas)
    DE William Gholston (Michigan State)
    ILB Manti Te'o (Notre Dame)
    CB DeMarcus Millner (Alabama)
    CB Xavier Rhodes (Florida State)
    CB Jonathan Banks (Miss State)
    S TJ McDonald (USC)

Lions will be drafting 32nd overall my friend.
As much as I like lattimore I doubt he'll be there.

He certainly looks intriguing. 6'3 210

Xavier Rhodes is who i like, though. Huge CB (will he stay at CB?) 6'2 215. I don't know much about him, but if he can stay at CB, he's exactly what we need
"The way they play offense here is difficult for any quarterback," he said. "Every snap is an incredible decision. They're in a one-back offense, they can't run the ball against certain looks so they have to audible to some kind of a pass or a creative run to get away from trouble.
"There's never a play in the game where Stafford can just turn around, hand the ball off and catch his breath. Every play he's researching the defense and they throw as much as anyone."

Honestly if we don't go secondary I'd love to get Manti Te'o.

1st round pick i would love Lattimore. A good three down back and would allow us to trade leshoure and/or best and get a few later round picks. The pick i'm really looking forward to is the later rounds when the Detroit Lions draft Denard Robinson. Wildcat baby!!!

I think he would be worth a late second to early third because of his potential in so many areas. He could return kicks, force any team to make a wildcat formation, can be a backup QB if necessary, could be a 2 down RB for a passing team, and also could play WR. His value could be tremendous for the lions. I'd take him in the second if there was no one who slides a lot down the board. But if we take Denard in the second we better go defense in the first. We cannot go offense first two rounds two years in a row.

I like Robinson as much as the next guy, but I think drafting an ATH in the late 2nd would be pushing it. Late 3rd and beyond I can buy into it....

Yeah Denard seems to me to be a later pick. Don't want to be like Miami and draft Pat White.
