Ned has built a 2010 super team. To add Ramirez, Gonzalez, Beckett, and Crawford to Kemp and Kershaw is pretty gd impressive, though all suddenly and permanently became bad.

Zomg did he? What a fool...Prospects are where it's at. Everyone knows that. Can you believe he gave up ALLAN WEBSTER???!??! Hard to see that working out well for the Dodgers. Their owner is probably pissed.

Nobody even mentioned prospects. The argument is that his unlimited spending makes his job a lot easier.

    Exactly.
For those that liked the same sex
    Had the characteristics
The right wing conservatives think it's a decision
And you can be cured with some treatment and religion
    Man-made rewiring of a predisposition
Playing God, aw nah here we go
America the brave still fears what we don't know
And God loves all his children, is somehow forgotten
But we paraphrase a book written thirty-five-hundred years ago
    I don't know

All joking aside the Sox might be a laughing stock this year but its pretty freakin impressive to unload over 200 million dollars in long term contracts in one deal AND get some decent prospects in return.

    Billy Beane.

Josh Reddick, Tommy Milone, Jarrod Parker, Jonny Gomes, Seth Smith, and of course, Yoenis Cespedes. For what they've done and considering how long the A's salary is, Billy Beane has been amazing.

It makes it easier sure, but it's still not easy. Having a ton of money to throw at something doesn't get you squat if you don't make the right moves. I think it's safe to say he has.
