obviously as a packer fan I think rodgers will always be better, but I disagree with some of the statements on this thread about smith. smith is a very solid quarterback and when you have a great defense protecting the football means you always have a chance to win. Nobody protects the football like smith.
Andy Roddick is a tennis player come on man.
On a serious not Rodgers is obviously better then Smith.

Alex Smith outplayed Rodgers today in a head to head matchup.

Love Alex Smith, but he wasn't going up against the defense that Rodgers was going up against today. He played well though. If he can do that every week I'll be happy.

Its commonly accepted that rodgers in the single best player in the nfl.. smith is a decent qb, but nowhere close to rodgers

SO TELL ME AGAIN HOW TIM TEBOW CAN'T PLAY QB IN THE NFL
That's absolutely hilarious. Not taking anything away from Smith who had a helluva game, but c'mon. Smith was throwing to wide open guys all day and pretty much leaned on the run game the entire game. Rodgers had absolutely no run game to speak of, pressure in his face, and had nothing but tight windows to fit the ball into. I think he played a pretty damn good game outside of that pick to Bowman. That was probably the worst pick he's thrown in 2 years, which is saying something.
