RG3 or Cam Newton

I know its kind of early to judge but based off what you seen so far and the sort of similarities in there game, if you where a gm of a contender team lacking a franchise qb who would you pick?

Going to have to go Cam right now, this would be a much better thread closer to the end of the season. I actually hope somebody bumps this or makes a new one later on.

Yeah, too early to tell on RG3, don't have the same body of work to compare.

i'm going with cam because he's freaking built. Cam looks like he can take a few hits and you wont have to worry if he's going to get up or not

I'd probably go Cam if it were real life because he's more proven, but I voted RGIII cause I like him way more as a player/person

I mean almost everybody knew how Cam would turn out after the first two games his rookie yr, he almost threw for a thousand yards! I didnt ask who would be better I asked who would you take as your qb?

I think RGIII has a chance at being the better player but I need more of a sample size. I also think durability could be an issue with RGIII, I don't have that same feeling with Cam Newton.

I think RGIII is smarter and more accurate then Cam but Cam is the better runner and more physical type of guy. As of right now with the sample size we have i think i would go with RGIII. I think Cam has the better weapons but you can't tell with the way Griffin has been playing thus far.

Have to see RG3 deal with struggles first. Plus cam newton is a freak of an athlete.

Going with Cam Newton because:

A) I did my undergrad at Auburn
B) I love Cam Newton
C) Griffin has played 2 games and I need more time to figure him out
