Ill go with, even if he was a prick. Its a slight edge IMO.
Although they were in different eras, Mays.
Mays
Willie Mays.
Favourite Teams:
Boston Red Sox: 42-29
Indianapolis Colts: Decent draft, no new wide receiver though.
Detroit Pistons: 8th pick in the draft
Ottawa Senators: Great season guys, let's get them next year
Beautiful:
Cobb

Going to say Cobb, he was better offensely, hard to compare their defense considering how far back Cobb played.
Mays

At that level personal conduct matters. Mays easily over Cobb as a package.

BRETT GARDNER HOME RUN METER
HOME RUN COUNT: 6
cobb was a much better batter but then again its different eras
Really? Because of his inflated batting averages?
rWAR says:
Cobb: oWAR: 144.7 dWAR: -10.8
Mays: oWAR: 131.3 dWAR: 18.1
Mays was a better player and person. Cobb was a violent racist, sociopath, and murderer, that played a game quite different from todays game - and that only against whites
haha

Mays was a class act wasn't he
Bryant cites a first-hand account from 1957, a United Press/Movietone News reporter named Reese Schoenfeld, that Mays ragged on Aaron from the sidelines while Henry was being interviewed in front of a TV camera: "How much they paying you, Hank? They ain't payin' you at all, Hank? Don't you know we all get paid for this? You ruin it for the rest of us, Hank! You just fall off the turnip truck?"
While Aaron became more and more agitated, Mays laid it on thick: "You showin' 'em how you swing? We get paid three to four hundred dollars for this. You one dumb ******!"
Oh wait. He was an ******* too.
