I remember scouts comparing Kimbrel to Wagner before he got called up a few years ago so who do you got?

Wagner, easily. There have been so many relievers who dominated early and were out of baseball a few years later. Bobby Jenks comes to my mind or Chad Cordero. Kimbrel needs 4 or 5 more years before even starting this discussion.
Wagner for career as this is only Kimbrels second year basically. But Wagners never had a year as good as Kimbrel is having this year, well no reliever really ever has.

Wagner was the one to mentor Kimbrell during his last career season in Atlanta. I'd take Wagner, but give it some time and Kimbrell will be just as good.
I loved Wagner on the Mets, too. He was by far my favorite player during his tenure in New York.
Billy Wagner.
Favourite Teams:
Boston Red Sox: 27-17
Indianapolis Colts: Decent draft, no new wide reciever though.
Detroit Pistons: Looking forward to the draft and whoever the new coach will be
Ottawa Senators: Down 2 to 1 to Pittsburgh, Game 4 on Wednesday Night, Game 5 on Friday Night and Game 6 on Sunday Night (If necessary)

Wagner career obviously, ask me in 10 years, might be changing the thoughts, Kimbrel is great
I love kimbrel, but it is too early for this comparison. Wagner wins easily right now.
wagner never had 2 years as good as kimbrel has had, but he wins right now due to longevity
Kimbrel
Kimbrel is still too young, but if keeps this type of dominance up for a while, then of course him, but be that as it may, Wagner has the longevity which puts him over higher.
