Kinda sick of hearing his name tossed around. He hasnt been good for a few years now and he is an insane human being.

He isnt an upgrade on Udonis at this point and he isnt a great defender.

I kinda disagree. He was a pretty big difference maker for the Clippers last year with his physicality defensively and rebounding. You see that this team has an issue with rebounding, so why wouldn't you sign him? It's sure as hell more realistic than Greg Oden, even though I'd take a chance on him as well.

How was he a difference maker? He can hit a jumper anymore and he is undersized as well. As a body he might be able to play a few games but I dont see him as a rotational guy come playoff time which is what we are looking for.

Llullz K-Mart not a rotation guy?

Look, he isn't a world beater, but he's defensive oriented player that rebounds, and that's more than we can say for UD at this point judging on what we've seen for the last two years. K-Mart even at his age is still pretty athletic and can run the floor. He's the type of player that we could use....

Miami also gives their own 1st rounder

Why MIA do it: We get a big man and some bench help.
Why Was does it: Chalmers can be a good backup, miller can be cut in a year, jones will probably leave next year and save them money, and harrelson can be a backup for them.

The heat can also sign guys such as delonte west to take chalmers place.

This trade isnt too realistic, but is it possible?

    BINGO!!

I swear every time I read this thread some people just keep mentioning his name like he's Christ himself who's gonna magically solve our rebounding and defensive problems. Like he is a great rebounder or a great defender. Reality is he hasn't been a good rebounder for years, certainly not better than UD. And he used to be a good undersized defender but at this point people here are fantasizing about it. As long as we have UD and Battier he ain't getting any minutes here. Team scouts know A LOT more than we do. The way some of our fellow Heat fans has been describing him here there's no way he would still be available.

Kyle Lowry is on the block, though no way the Heat would come up with a good enough package.

All those guys would help especially in bringing some toughness. Thats the biggest issue and those that say people overvalue Kenyon are missing that point, Miami just doesnt fight they need someone to be nasty in there its not just about rebounding its lack of will. Same goes for Delonte in the backcourt but is that Dalembert trade realistic with so many players going to the Bucks.

I agree. A west, Kmart, and Dalembert pick up would be nice. All three of those guys like to play rough and they get in there to position them self to get the rebounds.

I heard that he's on the block which shocks me for the simple fact that they just got him, but the only way that he will be traded from what I heard is as a sweetener for someone to take Bargnani.

to be honest thats one of the most realistic trades and Fa signings out there I think that that roster would cement a back to back 4 the heat.

    Roster Speculation Vol. VIIII

I honestly doubt any team is willing to trade with us at any point of the season unless its dealing with the big three.
