Either this was a horrible attempt at making a joke or you, well let's just say it wouldn't be very nice to say what the other half of this particular scenario might be for you.

    You realize Owens has accomplished:
    6x Pro Bowl
    5x All Pro
    6th All Time in Receptions
2nd All Time in Receiving Yards
2nd All Time in Receiving Touchdowns

The guy deserves to be a 1st ballot HOF regardless of his perception or personal feelings he may convey.

This question is seriously as asinine as asking whether or not Peyton or Brady are hall of famers....

I see Lynn Swann get bashed so much on this forum for being in the Hall of Fame, all people ever do is point to stats and then compare him to someone else, you people never, ever, ever discuss the fact that he had some of the biggest plays in some of the biggest games. If stats truly were te be all and end all then guys like Namath and Sayers do not belong in the Hall either.

Swann was called "Baryshnikov in Cleats", why? Because he always saves his best performance for the big show.

Might have something to do with the fact that they didn't retire until the 2000's where as Swann was playing in the 70's and retired in the 80's....

Owens is one of my least favorite players in the NFL, but his on field production has obviously been strong enough over the course of his career that he should be a lock. He will get in, but I'm definitely not going watch his induction.

Getting into the HoF is about your performance on the football field, not about how you acted off of it. People need to get over their hatred for a person because of their attitude and respect their game

This, I can't believe this is even thread worthy....kind of like asking if Kobe is hall of fame worthy....

Terrell owns Hall of Famer or not?

First ballot, no doubt about it IMO... One of the greatest receivers of this era

Cris Carter finished his career 2nd in receptions, yards and TDs and, despite being trumped by a select few like Marvin Harrison and T.O. since then, is obviously still top 5 in these categories...

And he just got snubbed for the 5th year in a row...

Yea he's in, if you compare him to anyone but Jerry Rice it puts in perspective how good he was.
