First come, first serve, I think it most fair. Alleviates "But I want the Oilers!" fights.

I'd say start them as soon as possible. More time it's up, more people see it, more people ready to go. Give it a few days after it's out so people can take their time getting it.

I'm hoping to start the NHL Forum thread whenever i hear back from a mod. And then let it run till like the 14-15th for signups.
