At 0-3 Are the Redskins in Danger of losing a Top 10 Pick to the Rams?

To Make a Deal For Robert Griffin III the Washington Redskins gave up these assets to Draft Him. The Redskins finally pay off their debt for the RGIII Trade giving up their first round pick in the upcoming 2014 NFL Draft.

    Rams Receive:

    € 2012 first-round pick (No. 6)
    € 2013 first-round pick (No. 22)
    € 2014 first-round pick
    € 2012 Second-round pick (No. 39)

    Redskins receive:

    € first-round pick (No. 2):
    Robert Griffin III

Now Hindsight says you still would have done this trade even though RGIII got an injury that changed his playing style this year. Griffin set records for highest passer rating by a rookie quarterback (102.4), highest touchdown to interception ratio (4:1), and had a 65.6% Completion percentage, a 20-5 TD to INT Ratio, Rushed for 7 TD.

My question to you is with the Redskins being 0-3, and Robert Griffin III adjusting after suffering tears to his ACL, and LCL will the Redskins give up a top 10 pick because of Griffin's adjusting season? I know its early in the season but my hunch is it will happen.

Do you think with two high picks in a highly talented draft the Rams will use their own pick and the Redskins pick to *finally* change the franchises misfortune? Maybe draft some more receivers just in case Tavon Austin doesn't work out and Sam Bradford takes that final step forward.

Maybe. If they do finish in the bottom 10 shanny will be fired and they'll bring someone in to play off rg3s strengths.

This trade could do to the Rams what the Herschel Walker trade did to the Cowboys.

That trade is what most people agree was the catalyst of turning the Cowboys into the 90s dynasty they were.

Feel bad for Bradford, they've been "getting him weapons" for 4 or 5 years now. By the time he has a chance to really succeed he'll be pushing 30 already.

Quite a few called it the next Walker deal when it happened. We thank the Skins for giving the Rams the opportunity to annihilate us all if they build a powerhouse with these picks.

Lol - yeah, he only had approx $58 million guaranteed before completing his first pass. Poor Sam

Well from a playing standpoint, feels better to win and make 58 million than to struggle along for your entire rookie contract. Merely from a W-L standpoint tho they could have been a better team they gotten him the kind of offensive help he has now back then.

Looking like a top 10 pick for the Rams unless Griffin figures it out there defense has been terrible forgot about this trade darn.

At some point you got to start looking at the QB.

I don't understand how this is even being discussed.. who here honestly doesn't believe the Redskins pull off a 13 game winning streak?
Reading the NFL rule book like:

Still a deal WAS had to make. Doesn't change that.

For the Rams... it would obviously be awesome. Not only do they get a top 10 pick, but it limits any second guessing that they should have kept RGIII for themselves and traded Bradford.
