Nashville signed Scott Hannan, one year one million dollar contract. Good signing for Nashville, would have liked if NY signed him to that.

That's a real nice value signing. Hard to say anyone who could be a starting defensmen on an NHL roster is "overpaid" on a one year, $1m contract. He's not going to put them in the Cup by himself, but he goes a long way in solidifying the 5/6 pairing in Nashville with a quality player.

He is also a perfect pairing defenseman with a guy like Jonathan Blum or Ryan Ellis.

I havent seen him play much but from what i did see he seems really redundant. We basically had the same player last season in Brian Lee and he was younger too. I hope Lundin plays well but if he turns into Brian Lee it makes me question why we experimented with the gilroy deal and actually gave gilroy regular playing time Originally Posted by BranWingss

Why are we talking about a guy who made 1 mill? Just saying. Hannan is a nice player. Overall: Nice signing. But, leave it to the minor signings thread etc.
