Personally for me as I look at that team, I just don't see that team being a legit contender in this game. Yeah it's a definite playoff team, but that defense + OL + RB duo is extremely poor.

That defense is flat out the worst. Their OL isn't good. It's average and that's me being nice. Their running game isn't going to be good even with that passing offense.

They only have one dominating strength which is their passing offense.

I didn't think anybody could screw up the #1 pick, but I was definitely wrong. lol.

You're just upset because what I said about your team was 100% right. It's boring.

Maybe I'm just grumpy and being a bit brutal with the honesty, but man, when they first went that route and I thought to myself "well heading into the 4th/5th round with their picks their is still a ton of defensive talent to anchor that team" then they went with the Jordy/Urlacher picks and I just thought to myself "lulz. They ****ed up."

Now seeing that defense, even one of the worst offenses in this game is going to score at will against them.

PK, I love you, but I think you're seriously overestimating the average PSD poster. They'll see Rodgers with great receivers and go "OMGZ, Super Bowlz!" They're almost guaranteed to get to at least the second round of the playoffs.

That being said, I do think they'll slip up before getting to the championship, because the defense is so bad. What I don't understand is why they went WR/WR with their 2nd and 3rd round picks. Why not take Cruz or Wallace and then take Hali, Cushing, Aldon Smith, etc? And then why go Nelson with the 5th pick when they could have taken Abraham or Kyle or Kevin Williams?

There were just so many opportunities for them to have addressed the defense that it boggles my mind they didn't do it...

I was gonna go thru everyones teams' D's and see how we ranked and the first thing I saw was homestar's clubby with DeAndre Levy at MLB.

Levy was bad-mediocre at OLB, switched in MLB and was actually worse, and is back at OLB where he may be a camp casualty.

I'd rather have an injured Shaun Rogers at DT than a healthy Levy at MLB.

Like I explained before, waiting 50 spots between picks doesnt give you the luxury of waiting on guys. After watching 15-20 QBs go in the first round, we didnt want to risk a WR run during the next 50 pick stretch.

Yeup, even with them stating they wanted the best passing attack in this game which would've been easily conceivable going a different route than they did.

Rodgers alone wouldn't guaranteed you a top 5-7 passing game in this even if they had mediocre WR's.

Especially considering the balance in this game. The top teams from the middle of the pack teams to the bottom tier teams don't have a "vast" difference in overall talent.

Sorry but Shaun Rogers hasn't done anything at all in about 2 years. He's done. He sucks. He's just a fattie, and everyone knows PK <3's the fatties in football, but he is worthless.

Levy might've struggled, but he isn't worse than Rogers. Going into the game I didn't even think Rogers was draftable.

The problem I have is you have an amazing offense, but when your going against a top secondary and a Dline that has pass rush at strength your team is in trouble. Your defense won't stop any offense, so its going to be tough. Your bascally hoping voters fall in love with the offense enough.

Even with that mindset, you don't completely neglect one side of the ball to load up 3x at on position.

The fact is you guys ****ed up. You guys are the equivalent of the NBA Mock Thunder GM's.

With Rodgers at the helm, you don't need elite WR's to have an elite passing game. If you one very good WR, and two mediocre WR's. Guess what? And a balanced defense, guess what? Your team would be considered elite.

Overloading your offense when you have Rodgers at QB was just silly and stupid.

It's not like you started with Alex Smith at QB where you need more talent out wide to make him look good.

For Christ sake you could have 3 mediocre WR's and your offense would still be amongst the best because of Rodgers. lol.
