Because Marshall won't land us a any of the players mentioned with the exception of Jasom Thompson who is very underappreciated.

    suns- Deroza
Raptors - 2 first round picks from suns, Pau Gasol, Steve Blake, Duds
    Lakers- Bargnani, Calderone

Suns give up duds and 2 first for a Good young starting 2 guard.

Raptors give up calderone who is a backup at 10 million, and bargnani, for Paul gasol. who is a better player. They also get duds a 2 first for deroza.

lakers- need to spread the floor, Barnani can play PF and shoot the 3 in Mike D new system Calderdone would also be a GREAT backup to nash because they are similar players.

If the raptors would bite on this trade I think it would get done.

    Suns- Josh Smith, Wilson Chandler
    Hawks- Gortat, Markieff Morris
    Denver- Duds, two 2nd rounders

Suns get a great Pf and sg. We move Smith back to PF and Scola to C.
    Pg-Dragic
    Sg-Chandler or Brown
    Sf- Beasley
    Pf- J Smoove
    C- Scola
Hawks get the C they NEED and a good young back up Pf.

I think this is good for all teams

If Frye wasn't hurt, I think a trade like Pau for Marshall, Frye, Morris would have worked.

With the hiring of Pringles, LAL needs a shooter as their 4.

The Raptors would bite, that trade is larson for them. Neither the Suns or Lakers would partake though. If we shipped off 2 firsts for Derozan my head would explode.

This doesn't make us a contender though.
Sad to say, but if this team doesn't work out, I'd rather trade guys like Dudley and Gortat for high picks and young players.

Bench Telfair and let Marshall be the back up PG, sick to death of seeing Telfair on the court, piss him off. we should be giving our young guys minutes, not to 28 yo journeyman scrubs

I half agree. His play isn't the problem. But I would rather keep playing him and maybe deal him to a team that needs a backup PG for a future 2nd or something. It's not much but he's good and can probably snag us something minor.

Who cares how old Telfair is?

He's been playing very good this season and is one of the few players on this team who has played ALL OUT with heart and passion in every game so far this season.

If Marshall can't beat him out, then tough. But blindly benching Telfair just so we can give Marshall playing time is ridiculous.

Dudz, Marshall, Wes, LAL 1st to UTA, PHX 1st to ATL.

    Jefferson to ATL

    J-Smoove to PHX

Move Scola to C off the bench.

    Dragic/Bassy
    Brown/Filler or FA
    Beasley/PJ tucker
    J-smoove/Kieff
    Gortat/Scola

We can try to fix our SG problem during the off-season.

We can fix Derrick Williams injury problems with our med staff.
    Min-Marshall, Morris
    Suns- Derrick Williams
I would get Rudy too but not sure what we'd be able to trade for him

Without crippling us for the future we dont have the parts to land a guy like Josh Smith right now. And really, what kind of team are we trying to build? A borderline playoff team or something bigger?

Also, giving up a bunch of assets and then having to give Josh Smith a contract is self defeating. We will have the opportunity to overpay Smith this summer in free agency.

And I doubt that Minnesota is ready to give up on Derrick Williams, especially not for basically nothing.

The only asset is Dudley. And maybe 1 our first round pick.
