That takes away any cap flexibility we have for next year & doesn't really improve the team at all.

True but I just don't see how or why the raps let go of DeRozan. He could be a star if he puts his mind to it. If their team even hits slightly close to all of their potential then they could be dangerous.

^i can agree with that but i think both he and ross their draft pick from this yr are going to be sg's and their team is very offensive minded without and really good defenders if they get a defender like luc they would be able to put him on the great wings in the east to slow them down...bc no 2 or 3 on that roster right now is going to slow down melo lebron ect!

Could just chase after DeRozen when he's a RFA. Then pull a dirty deal like Rockets and tinker with high front-loaded so Raptors don't wanna pay luxury tax. Where rockets back loaded Lin so Knicks couldn't match. If we front loaded DeRozen. It be iffy if they matched. Unless they unloaded other players for TPE's. He's also Jennings friend.
