Have you noticed that the only Western Conference teams to win the NBA Championship in the last 20 plus years has been a Texas team or the Lakers. When do you think this cycle will end and what team will break this cycle.

20 years? You can go back to the 1979 Seattle Sonics. At least OKC has a bright future given their main pieces will remain in tact for a while. Unfortunately the Lakers and Spurs are still heavy contenders. Until those teams fall into rebuilding which would allow new conference teams to rise only OKC looks to challenge them for supremacy.
OKC will buck the trend.
The Lakers steady building powerhouses, the Spurs being the Spurs, the Mavs still being able to sneak up on a ring, and The Rockets rebuilding. I find it hard for this to be broken. Not to mention if a good Thunder, talented Clippers, or surprising Nuggets make it out the West they will faces an elite East team that will beat them and keep the cycle going.
your annoying i thought this was going to be a great thread and this is all. dont go in every thread with this bs
/thread just for that
I think Lebron is just the best all-around player we have in the game today.-Magic Johnson
well considering there are 3 teams in texas, the chances of a texas team winning is pretty high. rofl. But yes L.A. and Spurs have dominated the last decade.

OKC will almost certainly break the paradigm but it won't be this year.
