Team NY or Team LA

I thought this could be an interesting idea after the Howard trade. In my opnion I believe team LA (Lakers and Clipps) would crush team NY ( Nets and Knicks)

A lineup of

Deron/Felton/Kidd
JJ/J SMith/Brewer/Shump
Melo/GWallace
Amare/Hump
Chandler/Brook vs.

Paul/Nash
Kobe/Crawford/Meeks
Hill/Butler/Metta
Pau/Griffin/Jamison
Howard/Jordan


It would be an intense matchup and while I think LA would dominate but I wanted to get the pulse of the PSD nation

It can be argued that Team NY has top 5 players at each position. Something LA is lacking at the SF. While I still think LA would win team NY has an advantage at the SF

Team LA. NY's only advantage is at SF, but LA has some good defenders to throw at Melo. NY can do the same to Kobe, but they don't have an answer for LA's PG or PF spots. Center favors LA because at the very least, they will outrebound the opposition.

The point I was going for (and failed to make) was Melo has a history of letting team back into games late, he may be top 3 at hitting the last second shot but he is often the reason the shot is needed that would greatly hurt Team NY's chance to win because Team LA has multiple closers and Team NY has a best player that can't play or spell defense and lets team back and creates a need to hit the buzzer beater.
