keeper advice...
Im in a 12 team league with PPR (.5). Last year Mendenhall went down for me as Lynch was getting hot so I dealt Steve Smith (Car) and my 3rd rd for AP and a 7th rd pick. Dont ya know AP scores an early TD then goes down for the season. If AP doesnt go down I think I at least play in the ship.
So I am already keeping Santonio Holmes in 11th and Vernon Davis in the 8th. Lynch is eligible to be kept in the 3rd but since I dont have a 3rd he has to be kept in the 2nd. I have the 3rd pick and Rodgers and Foster are expected to go 1-2. I originally was thinking take Rice and pair him with Lynch and look for a QB later. Now I am leaning towards Brady.
My questions: Is Lynch worth it to keep in the 2nd round (bottom half) or should I look for someone else? Also Brady or Rice?
JC although Sjax is no wild card? Lol he's pretty consistent .
Take Lynch
Sjax and jc are more wanted than lynch you could at worst trade them..
On a side note is there a fantasy football section here I'd like to ask about some things with other fans I'm stuck on an iPad so I can't even draft on espn yet ..

I dont like Lynch at all this year, esp the ADP hes going. I feel you could maybe get someone much better then him. I mean yes his numbers were great last year but I dont think it happens again... it it was a 3rd maybe I would think about it (a late 3rd) but its a 2nd you could grab other rbs
my thing is its only a difference of a few picks between my 2nd and 3rd. Mendenhall going down ruined everything. I woulda had Mendenhall kept in 2nd this year and Lynch 3 that would be great.
mendenhall is a bum he F'ed me last year all year after i traded forhim
I actually would keep Fitzgerald.
PSD's Muhammad Wilkerson!!!
Hey fellas,
I could really use some advice on who to take in the early rounds in my keeper league. I'm in a rebuilding phase and currently only have Philip Rivers, Ryan Mathews, and Greg Jennings on my roster. I obviously want to contend as soon as possible, but I'm looking to draft players that will help me the most for the long haul.
It's a 0.5 PPR league and there are 12 teams. The scoring settings are pretty normal. The only thing that is a little bit different is that Quarterbacks are more valuable than usual.
Anyway, I have the first overall pick, 5th overall pick, and 9th overall pick to work with.
The pre-ranked best available players are:
1. DeMarco Murray
2. Trent Richardson
3. Doug Martin
4. Dwayne Bowe
5. Jeremy Maclin
6. Steven Jackson
7. Brandon Lloyd
8. Ahmad Bradshaw
9. Reggie Bush
10. Peyton Manning
11. Kenny Britt
12. Fred Davis
13. Roy Helu
14. Demaryius Thomas
15. Jay Cutler
16. Robert Griffin III
17. BenJarvus Green-Ellis
18. Antonio Brown
19. Beanie Wells
20. Ben Roethlisberger
My biggest concerns:
Who should be the first overall pick: Murray or Richardson?
When should I start thinking about drafting Luck or RGIII?
Thanks for the help! Let me know if I left any important details out.
At rb, id go richardson over murray. From what ive heard his knee is fine and he probably has the highest ceiling of the two. Ive never done PPR though, so im not really sure who would be better in that situation, but as a pure rb id probably have more faith long term in richardson.
Richardson > Murray.. all Cowboys are poo poo
