I think he'll be fine. His reading of the game makes up for his lack of pace. He is very rarely poorly positioned and is about as steady as they come. Nothing fancy, but not likely to let you down.

I know the SPL isn't very good but he was excellent last season in a very troubled season for Rangers.

I'm sad to see him go. But reality is that a guy looking to keep his place in the national team can't be playing at a club in the Scottish 3rd division.

Why Wenger hasn't played Walcott upfront in years gone by is a bit shocking.

It's obvious he's pretty inept on the wing, let him utilise his pace upfront while being able to use his only other good attribute, finishing.

I think this is the year he may. If I recall correctly . Henry and RVP were used as wings t the age of 23. Not saying Walcott is anything close to them but I honestly see flashes of a striker in him .. Not a wing. I can see the fear on the defenses faces when thru balls are played too theo on the counter attack.

yep.. Pinto Da Costa is officially an idiot. after claiming he "turned down 50M for Hulk" about a week ago, he accepted 40M from the exact same team.

Here's the rundown:


Benfica reveives €40M for 100% of Axel Witsel (His buyout clause)

Porto receives €40M for their 85% of Hulk's contract

Secondary Group receives an estimated €15-20M for remaining 15% of Hulk's contract.
