At the moment zero but once the rosters get cut down to 53 if there is a guy out there we think can help our team then I think there is a good chance we sign somebody. I would imagine that there will be a few decent receivers who get cut that could help us out.

I cant wait to stand on the podium with Zygi and Mark and Jonathan, and were standing on the podium, and we look up and the confetti is falling down on top of us, and were all hand in hand, and Commissioner Goodell comes over and hands the Super Bowl trophy to Mr. Wilf and tells him hes world champion, that is my goal and that is my drive.

There is a good chance we don't, it just depends on who gets cut. We won't be going after any aging vets but if a younger guy (somebody like a James Jones) gets cut I bet we take a good look at them.

Here's an update on a couple WR prospects that have been mentioned in this thread.

Donald Driver - WR - Packers Donald Driver has "steadily distanced himself" from Tori Gurley and Diondre Borel since hauling in three touchdowns in one early-camp practice.
The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, unsure of Driver's roster security two weeks ago, now believes the veteran is "entrenched." The question is whether Randall Cobb overtakes him as the primary slot receiver. Gurley and Borel will vie for one roster spot if the Packers do indeed decide to keep six receivers. http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/1748/donald-driver

    Gurley 6'-4" 232lbs 24yrs old
Gurley's strength is his ability to use his big frame. He also does a good job as far as his physicality and being able to attack the ball at the highest point. Team mate Donald Driver says Gurley is good and has all the tools to be a great player. Gurley's size makes him a potential weapon in the red zone.
Gurley turned down a contract offer from the Vikes last season.

    Borel 6'-0" 199lbs 23 yrs old
Borel is described as very athletic with a good speed and burst in and out of cuts to get separation which also helps him make the first tackler miss. He can also return punts/kicks. He played QB in college. Rodgers has given high praise of Borel. Borel can play inside or outside. As a former QB he understands timing and progression quicker than most receivers. Borel turned down a contract offer from Tampa Bay last season.

Damn didn't even realize Driver was fighting to keep his job but damn I love the specs of Gurley. No way he doesn't make the team.

we tried to sign Tori Gurley off the Packers practice squad but he accepted a contract with the Packers to stay so I could see us going after him again if he is waived.

James Jones - WR - Packers
    Aug 29 - 12:07 PM

James Jones has been the Packers' second-best receiver behind Jordy Nelson during training camp.

Jones rededicated himself this offseason and says he's in the best shape of his career. Still, it's going to be hard for Jones to capitalize on his newfound motivation. He's battling with Donald Driver and Randall Cobb behind starters Nelson and Greg Jennings.

Doesn't look like Jones is going to be cut.

Danario Alexander - WR - Rams
Rams released WR Danario Alexander with an injury settlement.
Alexander fell out of the 2010 draft due to major knee issues, and he missed virtually all of training camp with a hamstring injury. The Rams decided to part ways with the talented yet brittle receiver instead of giving him a year away and seeing what happens in 2013. "DX" was signed for minimum base salaries.

Ramses Barden - WR - Giants
ESPN New York believes Ramses Barden has locked up a roster spot.
Barden is finally healthy and producing. Over the final two preseason games, he caught seven passes for 77 yards and a touchdown. The Giants figure to use a rotation at the No. 3 wideout spot this year, with the 6-foot-6 Barden acting as a red-zone threat.

cross another guy off the list.
