Well it looks like Skiles might be serious about giving Sanders some substantial minutes at C along with Dalembert. I don't know which one will start, but I could see it coming out to around 24 minutes for each guy. Sanders does look like he's a better player than last year. Even his month of April last year was very promising. He averaged 5.5 PPG (.558%), 4.2 REB, 2.4 BLK, 1.4 STL, all in only 16 MPG.
In another year, with further improvements, I think he could play starter (32 MPG) minutes and put up something like 10 PPG, 9 REB, 3.5 BLK, 1.5 STL, while barely getting offensive touches besides dunks and lay-ins.
I have an updated rotation prediction, assuming full health.
Henson is a guy who probably doesn't play when everything is going right, but since Gooden, Illyasova, and Sanders are all somewhat streaky players, he'll get some time in now and then.
I don't expect Udrih, Daniels, Lamb, or Pryzbilla to be in the regular rotation. I expect Lamb to be trained up as a combo bench guard for year two, and the rest aren't in the future plans at all. They're just veteran injury depth.
I hope that Henson, Sanders, and Illyasova play well enough that Gooden barely sees the floor.
Will be interesting with the minutes going around once Moute and Henson comeback. Besides Gooden getting DNP first two games. Maybe trim more minutes from Dalembert unless playing against other slow big centers then have him in. Sanders fouls out quickly but love his energy.
