Since the lockout will probably be ending soon, I think the opening day lines will be something like:

Neal-Malkin-Kunitz
Tangradi-Crosby-Dupuis
Cooke-Sutter-Kennedy
Glass-Vitale-Adams

Letang-Despres
Martin-Orpik
Niskanen-Engelland

Doesn't look too shabby tbh. Maybe switch Martin and Despres though.

I hope Tangradi is ready to play in the nhl full time and be a force

Not after this season. I've watched a few WBS games, and Morrow has been just plain awful. I expect Tangradi to be in the NHL this season though, mainly because there are no better alternatives.

No. None of the D prospects are ready to step in full-time for him. If anything, trade him for a winger, then make the pairs:

Letang-Despres
Orpik-Niskanen
Bortuzzo-Engelland

How long before Luongo gets traded or the Pens trade for Gonch? I'll be waiting

The only way I would trade for Gonchar would be for a late round pick or a low level prospect and even then I would be hesitant. We all know how he can help on the PP but one of the primary reasons he left was his defense was slipping. Add to that 2-3 years of increasing age and I'll pass.

I know the Maple Leafs have been linked to Luongo but I'm a little surprised a team like the Lightning hasn't made a serious push for him

My ideas were Setoguchi, Stewart, Kulimen (move Kunitz to Sid's wing and put Kuli along Geno), Umberger or Malone. Any could work along Sid or Geno.

Lighting just brought in Lindback, so I doubt they would want to get stuck with Lu for nearly 10 years. Also they drafted Vasilevskiy, who is going to be a stud. No place for him there.

Letang, in my opinion, isn't that good of a PP QB. He doesn't have the shot to be one. Gonchar could easily play sheltered minutes and just be a PP specialist. Have the pair be something like:

Martin-Letang
Orpik-Niskanen
Gonchar-Engelland

Not sure about cap but ill love to bring back Gonchar and Malone. I think that gives us the best chance to win this year

Just found out something really interesting. Bennett, Ferriero, Bortuzzo and Tangradi are all scratched today. Those are probably 4 of their best players. Are they making sure they don't get hurt for camp? Interesting thought. Bennett would be Sid's winger this year, without a doubt.

I'm sure they'll be at camp but I can't see more then Bennett maybe and Tangradi for sure playing a lot of the season at the nhl level
