    Eli Manning

I was watching the best of Mike and Mike in the morning and they asked the question "Is Eli Manning a hall of fame quarterback?"

So I ask is he a hall of famer?

    No lol

Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, and Aaron Rodgers will all be HOFers. Not Eli.

^^^ Hey if he retires with 3 SBs I think he could at least be mentioned and maybe entered.... Not by me, but by the voters.

If for the next 3-5 years he can put up numbers close to the ones that he did last year, then there's a good chance he will be. He has the greatness factor (2 superbowl mvp's) now he just needs the statistical factor.

In terms of that, last year was a hall of fame worthy season, he just needs to continue to do it.

    if he reitred today, no.
if he continues his inconsistency he has displyed most of his career, then no
if he continues to play like last year and has a full career (not career shortening injuries or anyhting), then probally.

Not at the moment. But if he wins another super bowl, it will be automatic.

And I cannot wait, I will die laughing. And most of the people in here will just die.

Right now? Not a chance, he has lead the league in interceptions twice. Get another ring and get good in the regular season then maybe. Pretty sure he has only been to the pro-bowl twice as well.

Brett Favre isn't gonna make it in the HoF?

    Not right now.

At the end of his career, most definitely.

Brett lead the league in INTS 3 times in a 19 year career
Eli has done it twice in 8 years.

Brett's first time leading the league in INT's was his 2nd year starting.

Eli did it in the prime of his career both times.

Favre is an 11 time pro-bowler, Consecutive MVP for 3 years, Most career TDS, yards, completions, attempts, and victories as QB.

The only thing you can compare about them is their ability to start games.

    No.

He makes some great plays for sure...but he's a very good QB. Not a hall of fame QB. Those spinning around in the backfield and then throwing a flailing duck into the secondary is just too dumb to warrant consideration. Making him a hall of famer would be like saying your wife is one of the best wives because she stopped cheating a long time ago. Doesn't really work. Plus, he still does it...so instead of cheating...she just flashes guys every once in a while.

    Odd analogy I know...but descriptive.

It was Eli's third year starting. So what? You think the HoF committee is gonna pick nits over who did what when, 5 years after each one retires? Besides Eli won the Super bowl that year anyway. This isnt PSD picking the HoF members (what a joke that would be)
