So this trade.... It's supposed to have gone through TC. cubsofchicago didn't put TC in the title, so i don't think they ever saw it.

The backup TC has always been myself and Ron, but with Ron not online and no TC members online, it falls to me. Seeing as I'm in direct competition with the Indians, I wanted to get other GM's views on the trade and make the decision from there.

After asking everyone that was online at the time, the vote came out 5-3 in favor of vetoing the deal. Of the 3 passes, one of them was borderline saying it was a bad deal but just barely passable and another said it was probably a bad deal for pitt, but not veto-able seeing veto's were meant for rapes and he doesn't believe it's a rape.

I spoke with Ian about it as well... We have come to this agreement....

For now, it will be veto'd by the public vote.

HOWEVER....

The TC will be allowed to pass judgement on this trade as if no decision had been made. If they view it as veto, it will remain veto'd. If they pass it, it will be input prior to Friday's sim, so as to minimize the delay on the trade.

So for now, veto, with a chance of parole.
