I like accelerators.. But I hear y'all don't. I like the idea of keeper myself, because I like the waiver Strategy.

Simple. Makes up for terrific games but your player doesn't get a TD.

Oh, I love that ****. We have accelerators (now that I know what they're called...lol) in another league this year (I think I set it at 100, 135, and 170+ and 300, 350, 400 with 1, 2, and 3 points being the accelerator value, respectively).


I think that's a great way to help show the impact of a great performance of a player. I also added a bonus for 40 yard scoring plays for the same reason. It makes scores higher, but it gives an incentive to have a player that's racking up quality yards as opposed to just amassing yards by incredible output.

If we do add an accelerator(s), we have to make it PPR (at least fractional PPR...I like 0.25/reception, personally) to help reflect the impact of a high volume guy as opposed to a high yardage guy.

Right, talked about. Papa Howe never said "this is a keeper."

That'd change a **** of a lot of draft strategies, and from every keeper I've ever played, you lose draft picks two rounds ahead of the player you picked (so the earliest keeper you can have is a 3rd rounder).

If we did a keeper that's what we would do (I drafted RGIII in the 6th round so I would get him in the 4th). And we can only do a keeper if everybody is in the league again next year.

Yeah that's not happening. Red and Hesterain aren't playing.

I didn't think they would this year, but they keep coming back. However, if they aren't active we can always open it up to some newbies.

I hope that we can find 2 regulars to replace them. 12 team leagues are better than 10. What are the rules on keepers gonna be? And how do FA pick ups work in that ****?

We have 14 now. Kicking those two out gives us 12, and 12 I think is perfect. Everyone but those two has been active this year, and I think BCB and Mike are going to stick around and not flake out as others have in the past.


And we'd have time to figure that **** out. I personally like a waiver system that reassigns waiver priority in reverse order of standing.
