He's played at least 14 games five out of his seven seasons and the least he's ever played was 11. That's a relatively healthy RB, comparatively speaking. A lot of backs miss way more time than that.

Last year he finally had a 16 game season but do you know why that is?? Because they lowered the number of carries and snaps he got and because their offense wasn't as predictable as in years past and because they finally got a backup RB to take the load of his shoulders. There was no gore to the right, gore up the middle then a 3rd down dump of to Gore.
So you're knocking him for not having to take the majority of the offensive load last season? That seems kind of unfair. It's also wildly inaccurate, because he had 282 carries last season, the second most of his entire career.

What kind of irrelevant stat is this maybe cause he's been in the league longer doesn't necessarily mean he's better. I can think of one guy of the top of my head who's had a better season than him the last 2 years rushing wise.
So, we're going to completely throw consistency out the window? If that's the case, all players who had one great season last year who should be valued higher than guys who have been very good their entire careers. And the guy you're thinking of is far less of a threat in the passing game.

Then I can name 3 or 4 guys who have had the same production level if not have been better than him quite easily. He doesn't have much of a gap over anyone at this point to say he's worth taking.
The dude was 6th in yards last season. I'm literally looking at numbers from last season and aside from two guys and a couple of one-hit wonders with half the name value, no one comes close and everyone else has been picked.

Brandond LLoyd was mentioned in Carson and I's discussions for our next pick but we decided... breakout season at 29 and a fall off season by about 500 yards and a lot of TD's at 30? Sketchy. He's stilla solid pick though.
