I share the same sentiment...we need the added depth up front. And a healthy Camby can really put us over the top with a half sane Sheed. We have to think later in the playoffs like you alluded to when we go up against teams like Memphis, Thunder, Boston, LA Lakers (if they get it together) and Clippers..etc especially teams with a big front line.

It is NOT that Woodson refuses to play him!!!! It is that he was hurt for ALL of training camp and the beginning of the season.....he needs to get in playing shape AND LEARN THE PLAYS!!!!!! Unfortunately, as Woodson has said, there is very little practice time at this point of the season so it is hard to work Camby in!!!

I'd take Billups just for added depth.

Apparently Bargnani has been put on the block. I might be interested in doing something like Amare + 2nd round pick + cash for Bargs and Fields.

Bargs at the 4 next to Chandler spacing the floor for the pick and roll and Melo could be something sweet.

I want no part of fields overpaid ***. And bargnani makes Amare look like ben wallace on D and the boards

I like Bargnani, but I would rather wait and see what we have with STAT. Still, it doesn't sound too bad. Although I wouldn't want anything to do with Fields right now.

Bargnani around this veteran team would be great. We have some defenders, a pair of rebounders, and he'd be another matchup nightmare for opposing defenses.

Noooo that's an Isaiah move. Look at Bargs' contract.

Amare > both Bargs and Fields
Not to mention they all expire the exact same season so its a useless swap.
At least you can argue Lin's contract is tolerable the first 2 years. Landry doesn't deserve any amount of that contract.

LOL It's just a thought, fellas.

And besides, a move like that is contingent upon Amare just being completely unable to mesh and wasting roster space. It's a lateral move at worst in that case.

Isiah also traded for the beast aka Zach Randolph, so you can't knock him for every move he made.

I would trade Amare for Bargs and Jose, but I would rather see what Amare gives us off the bench.

Yea I'm interested to see how our team would be like with a guy like Amar'e coming off the bench

He'll have a lot of room to operate and as the focal point for stretches I think he can still be a dominant *offensive* player

That is the worst trade ever...Fields suck in every way and we don't need him, Bargnani can't rebound, hold defense, & he is very weak/soft.
