I just read on nba.com Delonte West turned down a D-League contract. Just last season this guy was coming of the bench for Dallas playing 24 min for them. He is a decent defender, a solid passer, and an efficient shooter. I understand he's a headcase, but with Felton's hand I honestly wouldn't mind signing him to a 10 day to try him out.

knicks arent making any moves. Mike Smith Director of scouting, said he hasnt been checking in on anyone., They like the team as it is. Expect Sheed back after allstar break as well.

The Knicks don't need to actively evaluate NBA players, we have player reports on them already.

Carmelo is playing way too many minutes because he is the only real small forward on the team, this team would be legit with a another 3/4 small forward or 2/3 guard who was an offense/defense specialist (Novak/Brewer).

Looks like The Mavs might try to unload Marion. 9 mil last year of his deal.
Add him to the wishlist. He'd be the perfect player for us, having played with Kidd, Chandler, Amare and Novak.

We don't have much to offer though and can't match that 9 mil he's owed. We'd need a 3rd team, but even then Cuban wouldn't do it.

If the knicks were serious they would trade for Marion if he was available.

You could move Novak to a third team for a second rounder & Thomas, Brewer, White to make a deal.

Despite being around for so long, Howard is currently 3rd on the oldest active players list, behind Kurt Thomas (39 years, 260 days) and Grant Hill (39 years, 259 days). For those of you keeping score, the oldest player ever was Nat Hickey, who during the 1947-48 was coaching the Providence Steamrollers and activated himself for one game, during which Hickey attempted 6 shots, missed them all, and committed 5 personal fouls, stats which confirm to me what I have always believed, that I could play in the NBA.

Camby and Brewer = Wilson Chandler

    or

Camby and Brewer = Timofey Mozgov

    Nope, I'll pass

If you told me Sheed would be healthy enough to give us 15-20 good minutes a night, I'd think about it. Camby and/or Sheed being able to give minutes is IMO going to be critical to this team's success in the playoffs. Unless another deal happened which gave us another good defensive big to fill that role off the bench, I wouldn't think about moving Marcus...

I think we need a defensive guard, I do not know if there are any ou there. It appears Shumpert maynot be ready to shut anyone down coming off that injury. I hope the injury is going to limit him permanently defensively. We need someone who can stop opposing guards from breaking us down. Next Rubio, Paul and Derozan we could be on a 4 game losing streak before the allstar game.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but my opinion is that you are CRAZY if you'd turn down either of those trades. We are on the hook with Camby for 3 years. Mozgov can do what he does on the boards at this point with less injury concerns. And Brewer just isn't playing and doesn't bring anything White doesn't bring.

And Chandler is just better then all other players mentioned.

I can understand the WIlson Chandler trade, but Camby and Brewer for MOZGOV?? LOL Mozzy isn't even worth Marcus Camby alone, let alone 2 of our players.

Marcus can still start for at least half the teams in the league, he's still a very proficient rebounder and an excellent defender of the paint. I was a big fan of mozzy, I actually understood why Knicks management was reticent to package him in that big Melo deal a few years back, but his game hasn't translated well into the NBA and he never really took the next step into being an everyday starting center in this league.

I'd welcome Wilson back with open arms though, he was my favorite player on those late 2000 teams.
