We didn't resign finger
We kept grabovski and signed to a fairly good contract
We don't sign players for over 5 years
We didn't go crazy on free agents this year
We are beginning to be patient and hopefully wait for the right times to pull the trigger

THE cupboard is not, and will not be full..... ever! thats kind of funny, to even say. Toronto has a top 5 cupboard, but its far from a long shot of being "full". Originally Posted by lobster

I give Toronto till next year, when the "dead weight" comes off the books. Then we can draft a top 10 pick, trade for key players, a goalie and a #1 centre, then we can hope and pray Burke doesnt screw up fre agency and sign the wrong guy for the wrong price.
